Quests

In Wildoria, your adventure begins the moment you step into the city. The journey involves completing various citizenship quests and building your reputation. Wildoria features five main types of quests: Story Quests, Species Quests, Faction Quests, Professional Quests, and Event Quests. Each quest type caters to different aspects of gameplay, providing diverse challenges and rewards.

Introduction to Quests

Quests are essential for progressing in Wildoria. They guide you through different stages, from basic quests like registering at City Hall to more complex missions like tracking down criminal organizations.

Quest

Quest Journal

All active and completed quests are tracked in your Journal. You can view objectives, track progress, and see potential rewards before committing to a quest.

Quest Mechanics

Quests in Wildoria vary in nature and requirements:

Level

Level-Based: Some quests are unlocked based on your character's level. You might see a grayed-out quest marker indicating you need to level up first.

Stat

Stat-Dependent: Certain quests require specific stats to complete. A high-INT quest might need you to solve a puzzle, while a high-STR quest could require breaking down a door.

Time

Time-Sensitive: Event quests are only available during specific seasons or holidays. Missing the window means waiting for the next cycle.

Difficulty & Indicators

Wildoria uses a color-coded indicator system to help you assess quest difficulty at a glance.

Indicator Colors

The color of the quest indicator (! or ?) changes based on the quest type and the difference between your level and the quest's Level Cap.

1. Main Story Quests Dynamic colors based on difficulty:

2. Special Quests Fixed colors for specific content types:

  • Blue: Side Quests, Daily Quests, and Weekly Quests. These always appear blue to distinguish them from the main story, regardless of difficulty.

Visibility Rules

To prevent map clutter, the system automatically filters quests:

  • Trivial Hiding: Side quests that are 5+ levels below your current level (Trivial) are automatically hidden.
  • Always Visible: Main Story, Daily, and Weekly quests remain visible even if you outlevel them, ensuring you never miss important content.
