Biography
Silas Thorne walks the city after dusk the way a man counts heartbeats - steadily, without anyone noticing he is doing it. A Savage by upbringing and instinct, he believes the dark is not enemy territory; it is just the city with its mask off.
He is terse, even-keeled, and dawn-coded. He sleeps badly on purpose. He is suspicious of crowds and gentle with stragglers - a drunk citizen weeping outside the inn gets his coat and a walk home before the report.
The Night Watch under Silas is small, quiet, and almost never makes the morning news. Which is exactly how he wants it.
Encounter Silas's patrols when traveling between districts at night. Report suspicious behavior to him to seed a future investigation, or accept a night-shift contract for extra coin and danger.
Responsibilities
- Nightly street patrols across all districts.
- Coordination with Police Chief Micheal Geony on after-dark incidents.
- Custody of stray citizens until sunrise (no record, no charge).
- Reporting unusual nocturnal activity (creature sightings, unauthorized lights).
