Item Mechanics

Understanding the numbers behind the items is key to optimizing your build.

Stats​

Attributes found on equipment:

  • Strength (STR): Increases Physical Damage and Carry Weight.
  • Intelligence (INT): Increases Magic Damage and Mana Pool.
  • Dexterity (DEX): Increases Attack Speed and Crit Chance.
  • Durability (CON): Increases Max Health and Defense.
  • Speed: Movement speed on the world map.
  • Luck: Increases Drop Rate and Critical Hit chance.

Active Abilities​

Some items are more than just stat sticks. They grant Active Skills when equipped.

  • Example: Staff of the Firelord might grant the Fireball spell.
  • Usage: These skills appear in your Spellbook and can be dragged to your hotbar.
  • Cooldowns: Item skills have their own independent cooldowns.

Soulbinding​

Items bind to you to prevent infinite trading of high-end gear.

  • BoE (Bind on Equip): Tradable until worn.
  • BoP (Bind on Pickup): Stuck to you the moment you loot it.

Future Update: Items will have slots for Gems that add custom stats.
