Transportation Network
"The world is vast, and time is the only resource you cannot gather. Travel wisely."
In Wildoria, movement is survival. Whether you are hauling ore from the mines, racing a delivery before nightfall, or fleeing a power whose warrant rides the open road, how you travel decides how fast you arrive, how much it costs you, and how safe the journey is.
There are two ways to cross the world, and a citizen uses both:
-
Your Own Vehicles - the legs, wheels and hulls you personally own. You set out across the open hex map, hop by hop, spending energy and exposing yourself to whatever the road and the weather throw at you. Fast where the terrain suits your vehicle, slow where it does not.
-
The Transit Network - the stations scattered across the map: bus terminals, train and metro platforms, airports and ferry docks. You pay a fare, board, and are carried straight to a destination station. No energy, no encounters - but you go where the lines go, not where you please.
The rule every citizen learns early: walk or drive for the short, flexible trips; take transit for the long hauls where speed and safety beat freedom of route.
